Meet the Lutsenkos. Greg comes from a family of European builders and has been building homes for several decades. Toni is our in-house architectural designer and the part of our team that somehow knows what our clients will love.

Knoxville is where we have chosen to put down roots. Born and raised in Canada and the Ukraine, we have settled on Knoxville as the place we call home.

And it’s not just the beautiful mountains, lakes and climate - which are all wonderful. The wholesome Tennessean culture and values where we can raise our family and do business is an oasis of hope in many ways.

We spend more than half our lives at work. It is where we practice forgiveness, nourish friendships, and learn integrity- it’s literally where we become “who we are”. Who we are determines how and what we do.

Skyroot expends a lot of effort sourcing quality and unique product and skill. We focus on building relationships with suppliers and quality tradespeople who are focused on building and living better. When you buy a Skyroot home, you are inheriting a sizable investment of “heart and soul.”

There is no doubt. Our lives are fragile and desperately short, and nothing we build here lasts forever.

As Christ-followers we believe this short race we call life is just the beginning - and while we are here, our hope is that our lives and work would honor God.

According to Jesus himself, those that place their trust in his sacrifice will live forever in a place we call ‘heaven’. It is a place whose designer and builder is God himself. It is a reality and a time we look forward to.

We build with this context in mind - we tie our hearts and minds to what lasts beyond the horizon of our lives and grow our deepest roots skyward in anticipation of what is to come. That’s why we chose the name SKYROOT.
